“Greet
one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are
in Christ.”
I Peter 5:14
Although we
do not make it a habit to greet each other with a kiss, we enjoy greeting
one another with holy hands. Our ministry welcomes each guest
warmly, with a smile and a loving handshake. We feel it is important
to treat first-time guests in a way that invites them back to join
our family at Shechinah again, to treat all guests with Christ’s love. This is a wonderful, fun, rewarding, and crucial ministry. It
is awesome to see how God can use a smile.
“’A new command I
give you: to love one another as I have loved you, so you must love
one another. By this all men will know you are my disciples,
if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
Can you some early on Sunday?
Can you smile?
Can
you love people no matter what they look like or who they are?
If you answered YES to those questions (and you should have), God can use you to teach the lonely, to be a friend to the friendless, to remember a youth’s name when that’s all they need.
MINISTRY TEAM NEEDS:

of our family.

· Anyone willing to make baked goods, crafts, etc. For our first-time
visitors.

If you have a passion to serve people who
are struggling with real life problems, then
this a great place to serve. In an area that
continues to grow towards a million people, the needs will be endless
– will you be God’s hands and feet to a hurt world?
“So then
while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially
to those who are of the household of the faith.” Galatians 6:10
“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is
due, when it is in your power to do it.” Proverbs 3:27
“We know love by this, that He laid down His life
for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the Brethren. But whoever
has the world’s goods and beholds his brother in need and closes his
heart against him, how does the love of God abide in Him? Little
children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and
truth. We shall know by this that we are of the truth, and shall
assure our heart before Him.” I John 3:16-19
“What you do for the least of these, you do unto
Me.” Matthew 25:40
“Dear
brothers and sisters, what’s the use of saying you have faith if you
don’t prove it by your actions? That kind of faith cant save
anyone. Suppose you see a brother or a sister who needs food
or clothing, and you say, ‘Well, goodbye and God bless you; stay warm
and eat well,’ but then you don’t give that person any food or warm
clothing. What good does that do?” James 3:14-16
