LIFELINE is family-based.
LIFELINE is designed to help connect
youth with their families. To grow in the Biblical way that God intended.
“These
commandments that I give to you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit
at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when
you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them
on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses
and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:6-9
It was
God’s intention for the family to teach and bring up their children
in maturity. In today’s society, not all youth have Christian
parents. In this case, LIFELINE helps connect the youth to the
extended family of the church. As LIFELINE students focus on
evangelism, fellowship, leadership, and personal growth, they develop
in their surrounding environment of their family. God did not
intend to have “the church” and “the youth group” as separate bodies. LIFELINE is designed to bring these two back together. It is
not the youth minister’s job to raise the children – it is the family’s
job. It is for this reason that LIFELINE starts by aiding parents
and assisting them to effectively bring their own children to maturity
in their own home.
LIFELINE is relationship-based.
Everything
we do at LIFELINE is focused on building lifelong, Christian relationships
between the youth and mature adults. The youth of today lack
relationships in which they have a secure, safe adult that they can
rely on for the rest of their life.
It is LIFELINE’s goal to
connect the youth with adults that can provide this kind of security. We encourage our leaders to simply take a youth out to lunch or coffee. Even taking them on errands gives them mature Christian behavior to
model after. Mentoring, one-on-one relationships last far longer
than playing games once a week.
MINISTRY TEAM NEEDS:
· Mature adults who are willing to sacrifice time to “adopt” a child
with goals of developing lifelong relationships
· Adults who are willing to come to our Wednesday night program and build relationships

In the world of the early believers the theater was a significant institution for communicating the Hellenstic view of the world.
Some of the officials of the province friends of Paul, also sent a message to him, begging him not to risk his life by entering the amphitheater. Acts 19
Make them pure and holy by teaching them your words of truth John 17:17
"Oh foolish Galatians! What magician has cast an evil spell on you? For you used to see the meaning Jesus Christ's death as clearly as though I had shown you a signboard with a picture of Christ dying on the cross" Galatians 3:1
We want to communicate the message of Christ, but we believe that God created man with the capability of creating the arts, including drama, to express beauty, creativity, and His message of life. We want to recapture this idea and bring short dramas to our gatherings. Our culture today is a visual culture and we believe that drama will enhance the message.
MINISTRY TEAM NEEDS:
· People who have a passion or appreciation f drama
· Creativity and innovation
· A
strong desire to reclaim the arts
