The PROCESS

We also do have four purposes that help guide us and help us accomplish the mission that Jesus gave the church pertaining to discipleship. We want to have that roadmap as clear as possible so we can do it efficiently and effectively.  These four purposes talk about how Shechinah  will “make disciples.”  They are not the purposes of our church; they are not comprehensive.  This is just the outline of a tool that will help us define how we help people grow.

 

We exist to REACH a dying world with the message of restoration!

    God wants His church to reach out to a dying world with a message of real, full life.

 

We exist to CONNECT people to the awesome Family of God!

     The whole message of the Bible could be summed up (and was by Jesus) in two words:  LOVE and RELATIONSHIP.  Loving God and loving others the same way. 

 

We exist to TRAIN the family of God to live God-centered lives!

    God’s plan is that we become a family and learn how to take care to each other. God expects every person in His church to be a part of this family and has crafted each one of us in a certain way to fit just right

 

We exist to PREPARE other Christians to serve others, just as they’ve been served!

    After we have shared the love and grace of God with others and it starts to change who they are, we ultimately want to equip them to do the same thing for others
