big list of core beliefs or doctrinal statements here. We want to
do what Jesus asked us to. Sound pretty simple? Well, it's harder
than it looks and we want to spend our lives trying to master it.
We believe the Bible to be the
perfect and timeless Word of God. The Bible is God's gift to us; every
word is inspired by Him and can be incredibly transforming if we simply
work to put it in a relevant context and seek understanding and wisdom.
We take no creeds other than that which is written in scripture.
God is the awesome Ruler and Creator of the universe. God made
the world and everything in it, giving it incredible potential. God
also created beings in His image (man) and crafted them for relationship.
Sin destroys the relational harmony we have with God. Jesus Christ and
the reality of His death on the cross
has amazing power to restore that relationship.
Everybody is
on a spiritual journey. God is trying to work in every human being's
life to bring them closer to Himself and we invite you to join a bunch
of other people who all find themselves at different points along
this journey. We want to seek the face of God and support and encourage
everybody in their own journey.
It is the church's job to bring
God's Glory to earth. Jesus asked His followers to show a world a life
that - as He said it - is being lived to its fullest. We have the
chance to show a world a love that is different than anything they
have ever experienced.
