Small Groups/Home Groups:  We do value community at Shechinah and feel as though the "church" is something much bigger than what happens on Sunday morning. We like to grow in our ability to relate to each other and watch out for each other during the week. We want to live life together. Therefore, we encourage all Shechinah members to get involved in some sort of small group and enjoy real community.

It is through these real communities that we will effectively BE the church, rather than GO to church.  We are not interested in the latter.  We are interested in living the life that Jesus invited us to.  It's a life that changes us and changes those around us.  It's a life that helps God put this world back together.  It's a life that steps into the Journey.  It's the way we were meant to live.  It prepares us for the "Restoration of All Things."  This kind of life is much bigger than "fire insurance" and a "get out of hell free" card.  This kind of life is not only for then, but also for now.

The following activities are things that we have experimented with in the past and at the moment have no set schedule or rotation.

Visitor Desserts: For those of you that have been visiting SHECHINAH for some time - this meal is for you! Come and enjoy a "getting-to-know-ya" time and celebration. This is a time for just you and the staff at SHECHINAH. We want to know you better and hear about your experiences in life. Come and tell us your stories and ask questions!
